Nexus Networks is the first Caribbean lifestyle channel in the Caribbean. Breath-taking blue water and white sands is one reason for the Caribbean's worldwide popularity, but this dynamic region is much more than that; it’s a lifestyle. Brought to you by the Caribbean’s very own Sean Field and Jeanille Bonterre, NEXUS provides international and exclusive access to the many exciting sights, sounds and smells of this multicultural paradise. From innovative reality shows to food and wine festivals, to docu-series and short films, NEXUS Networks captures it all, connecting and uniting viewers across the Caribbean.
Jeanille’s journalistic experience and infectious personality made her a natural fit to be the original face and voice of MTV Networks TEMPO, their Caribbean Channel. Jeanille also became the spokesperson for MTV’s Staying Alive AIDS campaign CHOICES that created unprecedented youth awareness throughout the Caribbean. Following her successful stint at MTV Networks, parent company VIACOM Inc then gave Jeanille the opportunity to host and produce original Caribbean programming for BET Networks including the groundbreaking acoustic series Soundcheck and the documentary Top 20 Greatest Moments in Reggae. Leveraging her experience and popularity, she founded Jeanille Bonterre Entertainment, and has been pioneering a new era in the Caribbean media industry as Executive Producer of the popular travel series Island Xclusive broadcasting on CBS affiliate One Caribbean TV. Now as CEO of NEXUS Networks powered by LIME in the Cayman Islands, Jeanille continues to build on her legacy of producing high quality multi-cultural media.
From Barbados to Hollywood to NY, Sean is an award winning filmmaker and writer. As the founder of Iland Boy Films and the Chief Operating Officer of NEXUS Networks, Sean brings his multifaceted expertise and innovative production concepts to the channel as it explores and captures the Caribbean’s untapped potential. In April 2014, Sean’s independent film EGRESS won top honors at the MCNY Film Festival, displaying the versatility, attention to detail and authenticity that define NEXUS Networks.
